• Learning data — progress and session history
• Voice input — processed for tutoring and pronunciation feedback; some voice data may be stored on your account for session continuity
• Hifz practice audio — recorded during memorization sessions, stored on your account, and sent to OpenAI when pronunciation scoring is enabled
• Parent-created child profiles — name, grade, and learning preferences
• Donation records — processed by Stripe; we do not store card details
• Device info — browser and device details used for performance

2. How We Use It

• Personalizing your tutor to your age and level
• Tracking learning progress and spaced repetition
• Improving our tutoring models
• We do NOT sell your data to third parties

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Google Gemini — AI responses; your queries may be sent to Google
• Google Cloud Text-to-Speech — scholar voices
• Google OAuth — sign-in
• OpenAI Whisper — speech-to-text for pronunciation feedback
• Stripe — donation processing
• Supabase — database hosting in Canada/US
• Vercel — platform hosting

Each service has its own privacy policy.

4. Children's Privacy

• We serve users of all ages, including children
• Parents or guardians consent on behalf of children under 13
• Children's data is treated with extra care
• Parents can request deletion at any time

5. Cookies

• Essential — session management and language preference
• You can change your preference anytime

6. Your Rights (PIPEDA)

• Access your data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete your account and data
• Withdraw consent
